Back Yard Wedding Reception

This post is a bit out of sequence, but we wanted to share a glimpse of the festivities in our back yard recently. Jerry and Sharon Judkins hosted the wedding reception for their daughter Chaya Judkins and Tanner Allen at our home on May 23rd. Claudia was in the height of her glory preparing the flowers and plants in the back yard for the event. Here are a few of the photos we took.

Chaya and Tanner are great kids who come from wonderful families. They make a handsome couple!

Welcome to the back yard. The party is about to begin!

The gazebo - freshly repaired, painted and adorned with little lights - occupies the center of the yard. It is nice to have it sitting on the floor we prepared last fall.

The cake was lovely ...



... and Claudia's pretty flowers and plants provided a great backdrop to the reception decorations.



Our favorite guests were our kids, of course.

We think Eric is grinning because he is now dating the groom's sister!
